Ethical Tea Partnership is a non-commercial alliance of international tea companies. We were formed in 1997 to improve the social and environmental conditions of our members' supply chains. Our work covers three areas:
- Monitoring and certification
- Producer support (training and improvement)
- Strategic sustainability
Our programmes help producers to improve their perfomance against international social and environmental standards (ETP, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and Utz Certified). We cover all the main tea producing regions and our programmes are supported by Regional Managers based in:
- Kenya
- India
- Indonesia
- Sri Lanka
- China
Participation is open to any producer that supplies tea to our members.
