We’ve developed training programmes around 5 key areas that many producers struggle with. These training programmes help us to tackle social and environmental issues at scale:
- Factory health and safety
- Agrochemical management
- Fair treatment of workers including contractual issues, working hours, labour relations, the right to collective bargaining and discrimination and harassment
- Gender
- Environmental management including wildlife and biodiversity
We deliver these programmes with a number of NGO partners and technical experts. The training helps producers improve their performance against the ETP Global Standard (3605), and can also help them achieve third party certification.
