We have agreements in place to work with the three major tea certification programmes:
- Fairtrade
- Rainforest alliance
- Utz Certified
Our standards are closely aligned on labour and environmental provisions.
This means that our monitoring work as well as our training and improvement programmes can help get tea producers ready for certification from Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and Utz Certified.
These agreements increase our impact and reduce the audit burden for producers. It also allows us to concentrate our monitoring work on those producers who are not in the certification pipeline.
