Ethical Tea Partnership was established in 1997 and was one of the first industry-wide initiatives to tackle sustainability issues in supply chains.

We focus solely on the tea sector and work with a range of partners (certification organisations, development NGOs, technical experts etc) to help us to achieve our vision of a thriving tea industry that is socially just and environmentally sustainable.

Our work covers three main areas:

• Monitoring and certification
  
• Producer support (training and improvement programmes)
• Strategic sustainability (e.g. projects that tackle climate change and other global issues)
