ETP Regional Manager for India

The Ethical Tea Partnership works with tea producers and companies at each end of the supply chain. Together we are helping to create a thriving tea sector that is socially just and environmentally sustainable.

The ETP is looking for a dynamic individual to act as ETP’s Regional Manager for India. They will work with the Executive Director to develop the ETP’s strategic approach in India and will be responsible for co-ordinating all of the ETP’s programmes in the region.

Key activities in India include:

  • Developing and co-ordinating work with partners on strategic sustainability issues for the tea sector such as climate change, social issues, and smallholder and worker livelihoods
  • Co-ordinating training and support projects on key social and environmental management issues such as fair treatment of workers, environmental management, and health and safety
  • Supporting producers to improve against ethical standards (ETP, Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade and Utz Certified)

The successful candidate will need to be a dynamic, self-motivated individual who is fully committed to the ETP’s mission. They will need to be able to successfully develop and maintain positive relationships with tea producers and the ETP’s project and training partners, have good project management skills, and enjoy visiting tea producers across India.
